Mist Eliminator
- Mist elimiantor is a kind of vapor-liquid separating device. It is mainly composed of wave blades, plate, card and other fixed device. In the operation of absorption tower in wet desulfurization, there will be "fog" of 10--60 micron diameter. The "fog" contains water, it is dissolved with sulfuric acid, sulfate, sulfur dioxide, and it will cause severe corrosion to fan, heat exchanger and flue pipe. So wet desulfurization process requires mist eliminator.

1.Introduction

2.Working Principle
Mist eliminator is constructed from multilayer knitted mesh media and provides dense matthrough which process gas flows and liquid entrainment is trapped through impingement or coalescence and prevented from passing downstream, achieving liquid-gas separation.
