1.Introduction
The paper quality control system can detect and control basis weight, moisture and ash content in paper. This system is one of the most important control links in a paper mill and also considered the main reference for evaluating the automatic control level of a paper mill.
2.Operation Principle
The core detectors for DF-5710 paper quality control system consist of basis weight detector and moisture detector.
Basis weight detector: work on the principle of ray attenuation by absorption.
Moisture detector: Work on the principle that moisture has an absorption peak at 1940nm.

4.Basic Product Function
4.1.The smart scanner frame is constructed of welded double tee iron and provides an excellent drive foundation and platforms;
4.2.Sensor sampling rate: 2000 times/s, high sampling accuracy;
4.3.Accurate basis weight detection: An imported and compact Kr85 radioactive source is adopted and the volume of the radioactive source is reduced by 50 percent, which greatly reduces detection error caused by paper chattering;
4.4.Accurate moisture detection: A tuning-fork frequency modulator with stable performance is used for modulating light sources. Three electrically-refrigerated Pbs semiconductor probes are used to detect infrared light signals. Therefore, it can detect moisture rapidly and accurately and be perfectly applied to modern high-speed paper machines;
4.5.A high-speed Ethernet communication port provides high-speed communication and powerful interference immunity;
Thermostatic control is conducted on air gap temperature in scanners, which greatly eliminates the effect of environmental factors upon measurement results;
4.6.Multi-stage detection compensation for sensors, such as dust compensation, Axis-Z compensation and temperature compensation, greatly improving sensor accuracy.
